  14.    I was wondering what the specific values of upgrading my Hayes Accura
  15. V.Fc to V.34 are. Of course, Hayes recommends I do this for $49.95 +S&H;
  16. but a local sysop suggested that I'd get little or no benefit. My main
  17. expertise is in fiber optics, and am fairly ignorant of the V.Fc and V.34
  18. transmissions. Any help would be appreciated; the more specifically
  19. technical, the better (Hayes sent me a basic, 'Do it, it's good' kind of
  20. response...lame, to say the least.)
